Broadbeach’s main oceanfront is Kurrawa Beach, a long, wide sweep of soft, pale-gold sand backed by dunes and parklands.

It sits directly opposite the Broadbeach dining and shopping strip, so the skyline of high‑rises frames the sand and surf for that classic Gold Coast look. The beach itself is patrolled, with designated swimming areas in front of the lifeguard towers and the Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club, making it popular for families as well as confident swimmers and surfers. Conditions range from gentle shore breaks to stronger waves and rips, so swimming between the red and yellow flags is important.

“My family and I stayed I stayed in one of the talismans apartments for five nights overlooking the ocean it was absolutely amazing the views of the ocean from the balcony the sounds of the waves all day long the apartment was amazing so clean and comfortable few metres away from the ocean so convenient next to all shops and restaurants will definitely be coming back staff at front desk was so polite and helpful they should give her a pay rise than you talisman for the amazing experience.“
